On 27th January 2024, 98 students from various semester along with team Co-ordinator Prof. Babulal Dargad, Prof. Poornima Murgod and Shri. Suresh Limbikai, Director Physical Education, visited Karnatak University Department of Criminology and Forensic Science laboratory. The purpose of the visit was to make our students understand the relevance of forensic science in investigation of case. Forensic science exhibits an imperative responsibility in criminal interrogations, enabling law implementation to not just recognize possible culprits but also establish when and how a misdeed takes shape.Fingerprint analysis withstands as a radical pillar of forensic science. Discernible configurations on the ridges of the skin generate distinctive fingerprints for every individual. Forensic professionals correlate hidden fingerprints established at crime locations with known prints preserved in databases, therefore initialing possible links to suspects. This model has been verified indispensable in multiple cases, constituting an influential connection between identities and regions.Finally, an interaction was arranged wherein students interacted with Prof. Dinesh Narayankar, Chairman I/C of the Department wherein the Professor Narayankar gave invitation to all the students for attending Forensic Fest to be organized in coming days and along with that he asked our students to visit the laboratory whenever they wish to.
IQAC INITIATED ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON "CONTEMPLATION OF WOMEN PROTECTION LAWS IN INDIA"was organized on 4th march 2024.the event was inagurated by Prof Dr Ratna Bharamgoudar ,Diorector KSLU Law School and Registrar Evaluation KSLU Hubballi .
