On 4th December 2024 as per the Directions issued by Hubballi Dhrwad Police Department our students participated in special drive against narcotic drugs addiction. The procession was conducted at BVB Engineering College Hubballi .The Police Commissioner of Twin City have warned of stringent action against consumers ,including working professionals and students ,more than 20 students of our college have participated in this drive .
On 25th October 2024 J,S,S,Sakri Law College has organized IQAC intiated one day workshop on Personality Devolopment .The director of Imaculative Oracle Institution Sri Arogya swami Karadi and smt Supriya Jadhav were invited as Resource person.Dr Roopa Ingalhalli pPricnipal of J.S.S.Sakri Law College ,in her intriductory note offers gracious welcome to the resource person and adressed that students should inculcate good communication skill,critical thinking,research skills etc. The workshop was featured into four technical sessions .In first session the focused areas were communication challenges,body language and social etiquette. Second session was about Self efficacy,Healthy self esteem,Self Awareness which includes group discussions ,role play activities.In third sessins sir has adressed on topics such as Interpersonal awareness skills ,team performance and team organizations etc.. fourth session includes collabarative learning,flipped classroom session,social and micro learning skills.Our distinguish speakers also emphsises on art of self presentation,time management and practicle strategies which are required for personal and professional excellence All the faculty member and 73 students were part of this event .Prof Poornima K was the coordinator of the events.
8th March 2025 On the Occasion of Women’s Day our college has organized IQAC Initiated One day On State Level Workshop on “Strengthening Child Protection :An Anaylisis of the POCSO Act and Its Implimentation” The workshop commenced with Inagural session at 10 a.m Hon’ble sri S B Handral 5th Additional District Judge Hubballi has Inagurated the session and spoke on the role of law students and legal professionals in ensuring child protection justice. Guest sri Leelamurthi project officer SKDRDP spoke about various schemes available to women under Dhrmastal Rural Development Schemes . Dr Roopa Ingalhalli Pricipal of JSS Sakri Law College has discussed about the practicle challenges in implementing the Act. The work shop was featured in to Three Technical Sessions. In the first session Smt Noorjahan Killedar ,Legal and Probatoin officer ,District child Protection Unit ,spoke on topic”Ensuring Child Safety:Role of Welfare Department in Implementing Pocso Act”. Madam spoke about procedural aspects, and challenges faced by various departments and agencies in implementing this Act. In second Technical Session Smt Girija Tamminal Public Prosecutor District Copurt Dharwad ,spoke on topic”Evaluating the Efficacy of the POCSO Act in Indian Legal Framework”. In Third technical session sri B.A.Jadhav Police Inspector Ghantikeri Police Station Hubballi spoke on Topic “Role of Police in POCSO Investigation,and Legal Requirements” .total 62 students from commerce college ,54 students from law college and 17 ladies from SKDRDP Hubballi were present .all the faculty members from law college and commerce were part of the event .
